Our Future Stars?!

In the times we are living in, it's easier than ever to become famous. If you are a starting young artist, it's not very hard to find a crowd that will hear your work on YouTube. As time passes by and the technology gets better and more advanced, you can invite the whole world into your own bedroom to hear you sing your favorite song.

The following examples are success stories of people who were not known but became big stars after putting their videos on YouTube. After getting millions of online views, these future stars are everywhere and may even become big music stars because of their YouTube success! Read on to learn more about them.

Rebecca Black

If you have never heard this name or the song 'Friday', then you must not have been on this planet in the last few months! This video has been everywhere! It's one of the most watched videos on YouTube lately, with more than a 100 million views!

This video was a gift for Rebecca from her parents for her birthday. The words are hers and she even has her real friends in it.

This 13 year old girl is truly a viral queen. She has been hosted on TV shows and interviewed in different magazines about her amazing success. Her dream is to sing on the stage with Justin Bieber. Lots of people have created their own versions of her songs and there have a lot of remixes! Warning: when you'll hear the song, it will be hard to take out of your head!

Greyson Chance

Greyson was a normal school 12 year old school student. Then, his future changed one evening after he performed a Lady Gaga song, 'Paparazzi' at his school's music show. Some people say he might be the next Justin Bieber. The video didn't get a lot of views at first but after a few websites wrote about it, the video got more than 37 million views. People really liked the way he sang the song and loved his grown up attitude. He said he was really influenced by Lady Gaga. "I love her sense of drama I think she's an amazing singer and piano player. I want to make music because of her." Chance has a lot of friends on social networks like Facebook and Twitter. His online success helped him promote his own music. He is about to put an album out and two songs from it, 'Stars' and 'Broken Hearts' were already put up on YouTube. They have gotten more than 10 million views together. Is he the next teen star?

Maria Aragon

Some people called this amazing, ten year old girl, "The next Greyson Chance." She also became a star after posting her own version of the Lady Gaga hit, 'Born This Way.'" Last February this Canadian girl charmed the world with her sensitive version of the song and it got more than 26 million views. She became a star and even played before the Canadian Prime Minister and his wife! Lady Gaga was really excited after she saw Maria's video and said, "I couldn't stop crying after I watched this video. This is why I make music – this girl is the future." Will Maria be a big star like Lady Gaga? We'll have to wait and see.

Meghan Tonjes

Meghan is not as young as the rest of these YouTube stars but she's also a musician who has seen lots of success because of the website. She is a 23 year old girl who has been playing the guitar, writing and singing her own songs for a few years now. She started uploading her cover versions of hit songs by singers like Adele and Katy Perry and many others on her channel under the name 'Request Thursday'. The videos soon became very popular and showed her amazing voice and musical talent. Now she is about to release her own album and even has an official website!
