The New Pirates of the Caribbean!

Jack Sparrow is back!

There's no doubt that one of the biggest movie hits in the last years was the Pirate of the Caribbean series, starring the talented Johnny Depp! On May 19 you will be able to see him again as Captain Jack Sparrow, in the fourth movie of series, called Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Read on and learn more about the upcoming hit!

The film's story focuses on the adventures of Jack Sparrow (Depp) and his friend Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush). They are out on a quest to find the mysterious fountain of youth. Things get out of hand when they run into a beautiful and mysterious woman from Jack's past, Angelica (Penelope Cruz). She and Blackbeard (Ian McShane, Sparrow's enemy) are also on the lookout for the fountain.

It also appears that the ship Black Pearl will make a comeback in the movie, only this time it will be in the hands of Blackbeard, who made some unconventional changes to it. It was also revealed that a mermaid will help guide them to the fountain's location.

The movie was filmed last year. Some of it shot in Hawaii and the rest in England, with special 3D cameras. The movie is loosely based on a 1988 book called On Stranger Tides with a pirate named Jack that is nothing like our hero, Jack Sparrow.

Before you run and see the movie, here's a nice story that happened during the filming that Johnny Depp recently spoke about in an interview. While they were filming the movie in London, Depp received a letter from a nine year old girl asking him to help her and her friends 'mutiny' against their teacher. Depp came to her school a few days later, dressed like Jack Sparrow! Could you imagine Captain Jack coming to your class?
